[Libvirt] [virsh] Transport Error during enumeration while connecting libvirt to Hyper-V Server
...is being called.
Code :
response = wsmc_action_enumerate(priv->client, root, options, filter);
if (hyperyVerifyResponse(priv->client, response, "enumeration") < 0) {
goto cleanup;
}
I have correctly done the settings on my hyper-v Server using below commands:
winrm set winrm/config/service/auth @{Basic="true"}
winrm set winrm/config/service @{AllowUnencrypted="true"}
Does anyone knows what could be wrong or I am missing something or can anyone help to solve this issue.
Thanks & Regards,

Trouble Connecting Windows 8.1 RSAT to Samba Domain
...lient to
the domain.
When I run Microsoft Server Manager and try to "manage" the server using
Administrator credentials, I receive the following error:
"Target computer not accessible 5/4/2015."
The Server Manager activity notification states, "The refresh failed
because WinRM is not running and could not be started."
I have performed ipconfig /all on the Win 8.1 client and Samba4 box is
listed in the "DNS Server" output.
Does anyone know how to resolve the WinRM errors?

libvirt 1.3.3 and Hyper-V 2012
Hello
I installed libvirt 1.3.3 for managing a Hyper-V 2012 R2 Server.
On the hyper-v server I entered the two commands:
winrm set winrm/config/service/auth @{Basic="true"}
winrm set winrm/config/service @{AllowUnencrypted="true"}
After connecting, I receive the following error:
user@ubuntu-serv-kvm:~/libvirt-hyperv-r2-2012$ virsh -c hyperv://192.168.33.140/?transport=http

This is correct.

ntp server, internal samba dns, and dhcp running.

...configure one of the NICs before conversion to use DHCP. That
would alter the original VM.
And in the case of multiple NICs, how do we know which one to reconfigure.
That would be quite specific to each customer, meaning customized playbook
/ role.
And IIRC, there's a good chance that it breaks WinRM configuration with
regards to certificates, meaning reconfiguring WinRM after DHCP and after
conversion.
But maybe I'm too pessimistic ;)

to be pedantic about it, the equivalent of PowerShell is NOT sshd, its
bash/ksh/csh/zsh/sh ... PowerShell does not by itself allow external
connections, you'd need to configure a telnetd or sshd server to allow
