Kareo please help
Hi,
I am a new Ubuntu user and I am trying to get rid of Windows from all my computers forever! The only hurdle is my medical billing software Kareo. When I tried to run the exe file it states that it is extracting an MSI file and then shut out.
I tried extracting the msi files running w/ the wine msi switch but it states that the msi file cannot run w/o the setup file. The program can be freely

error compiling R-1.3.1 from source on WinNT
Dear R-help,
I have encountered some errors when trying to compile R-1.3.1 from source on
my WinNT4SP6 laptop (PII w/128MB RAM). I have installed all the tools
following the instruction in src/gnuwin32/INSTALL, with the exception that
the mingw compiler I have might be a bit older (they are the ones
recommended for R-1.3.0, I believe). I have also compiled the ATLAS
libraries from source using the...

my NT seemed to have become unstable afterward.
System info: R-1.3.1 on WinNT4sp6. IBM Thinkpad 600E with PII and 128MB
ram.

Call for help with Samba Printing and WinNT
...entically to those on the WinNT/TSE PDC
and on the Samba machines, there was no difficulty connecting to shares
and printers and even to MS-Exchange from the WinXP/HE machines. In fact
it was quite smooth (sorry-have to be honest).
I have setup samba 2.2.8a and CUPS 1.1.19pre4, and am working with
WinNT4SP6/TSE. The printers are HP laserjet 2100 (PCI/PS) and 6P/6MP
(PS) machines setup both as raw printers (for direct installation on
Win) and also using Foomatic+ljet4 driver for Linux printing and for
using cupsaddsmb.

'Setup cannot find necessary files' message
Running Wine 1.0.1 in Ubuntu 9.10, trying to install FileMaker Pro 9 from CD. (Install from this CD works fine on Windows machine.)
'Setup cannot find necessary files' message appears when launching setup.exe with Wine.
WINEDEBUG=+loaddll on setup.exe gives the output below; looks like all needed .dlls are there.
