Can´t delete some applications
...plications-merged/
Then i wanted to delete the applications in winecfg application tab. But they hardly appear again and again everytime i restart winecfg.
I can handle the applications, change their sounddrivers or set up a windowmod (or even not), but i cant delete them :-)
Any hint for me?

Hi there,
I'm trying to get the game Halflife working with Wine.
I downloaded the latest Wineversion with CVS.
I built it with :
# ./configure --prefix=/usr/wine --enable-opengl
# make depend && make && make install
Then I insert the halflife cdrom and do:
# mount /mnt/cdrom
# cd /mnt/cdrom
# wine SETUP.EXE
It loads up the Halflife install wizard (progressbar goes from 0 to 99%)...

I have my 32-bits compatibility libs in /usr/lib, and I self-compiled alsa

As I said, it used to work ok, but now it aborts with

Problems with 64 bit wine
Hello. Just compiled a 64 bit version of wine. I set the path to the wine I've compiled like so. PATH=/home/sirbubbles/wineversions/"my wine here"/bin:$PATH. I also do export WINEARCH=win64 before creating a new wine prefix. However, when it comes time to run a 64 bit exe like dotnet20 64 bit, it will tell me that the prefix I'm trying to use is 32 bit. Even with a brand new prefix.
What am I doing wrong? I'...

Wacraft 3 Support deteriorating
Hi,
I am / was Wine mainly using for playing Warcraft 3. I know it's an old game but it's still highly popular. The problem is, with each new version the support gets worse and worse. There are even people in BugZilla who show the bit of code, which creates the new bugs but nothing happens.
For example with the newest dev release and the current stable release it is NOT possible to:

...efix architecture. Consequently, a 64bits-made prefix must be assigned to a 64bits wine version.
- Sometimes, we need to patch wine. In that case, please do not report bugs, any test on AppDB with these version! They are experimental.. It is very easy to recognize patched wine version. Indeed, POL wineversions names follow this rule : VERSION-patchname. For exemple "$HOME/.PlayOnLinux/wine/darwin-x86/1.4/" is not a patched wine version, but $HOME/.PlayOnLinux/wine/darwin-x86/1.4-ubisoft" is a patched wine version.
- PlayOnLinux installs the good gecko version for each wine version

Hi,
I?ve installed wine on Ubuntu 6.10 64bit using the following guide :

but, when I type winecfg in Terminal I get the following error :

Dunno if it may help, but here?s a terminal shot of when wine was
getting installed.
