Samba AD + Windowss Server DC
Not sure if I am asking this correctly..but here goes.I currently have a
Samba 4.4.4 AD running with Windows 10 desktops tied to the samba AD.
Everything is working great.
Is there a guide or thread on the process used to setup a Windows Server
2008 or 2012 as a AD/DC and join it to an existing Samba AD? OR make the
Windows Server a backup AD/DC?

samba can be upgraded to support encrypted passwords. see:

Failed to compile Samba with SSL
Hello!
I failed to compile Samba with SSL on Mandrake 8.2 -
error while "make all" in following sequence:
cd SSLeay-0.9.0b
./Configure linux-elf
make
make install
cd ../samba-2.2.7/source
./configure --with-ssl
make clean
make all
Log of the last command attached.
What's wrong? Please, help me!

A couple questions about Wine
VirtualBox works great but, since I only really use one Windows
program (an older, specialized word processor called Movie Magic
Screenwriter), I'm thinking of using Wine to run it in CentOS and
getting rid of the Windows virtual machine. But a couple questions:
1) If I run Wine, do I introduce security or performance issues?
2) Is there any difference between Michael Harris' Wine
