Solaris + Samba + Mount windows printer
Hi there,
I was trying print to a Windows shared printer from Solaris 2.5 using the
following command:
# smbclient //windowspc/printer1 -U abc -c 'print -' < somefile.txt
with success. Now, my application in Solaris was hardcoded to send print to
lp, if I wanto change the destination of printing from lp to the windowspc's
printer, how do I do this without changing my application source codes?

Odd proxy problems
...;'. I have installed hopefully the latest version of
shorewall, as followed by the website. The firewall has been installed with no problems, runs ok,
but I have found a strange problem, maybe it me *shrug*
My setup:
Internet<-->cablemodem<-->Debainfirewall<-->hub<-->windowspc
I am cable, and get my IP from dhcp. eth0 on the firewall, gets a public IP and has a private IP of
192.168.10.45. eth1 has the IP 192.168.20.1 and the windows pc has 192.168.20.2.
The problem:
The firewall starts fine, I have setup masq so I can use my windows computer. I can ssh into debian...

FS Host runs but can not connect connect flights
System Ubuntu 8.04 HH server with Ubuntu desktop (Gnome)
2X 1Ghz Pentium III processors, 1 Gb ram
Wine installed directly from the Ubuntu link version 1.0
Direct X installed per http://www.wine-reviews.net/microsoft/directx-90c-march-2008-redistributable-on-linux-with-wine.html
Default all programs set to run as window 2000.
DirectX runs with out a problem
FS Host 3.2 runs fine when you load
