Hi All I bought the Samsung ML-4500 Laser Printer. I installed it on Mandrake 9.0 successfully using cups and I cant print from the Linux itself. I added it to the Samba as Shared Printer. ...machine, I get mixed results. Zinf on windows will play thru the current song but then stops when the song is finished and does not play the next song being streamed (see log below). Winamp on windows will not play at all. On my iMac, I am using AudioOn and it behaves the same way as Zinf on Winblows (playing the current song and then disconnects). Hi, I'm having a problem with roaming profiles. I just built a new machine and put it on the network. When I log on with a domain user, I get an error when it tries to load the roaming profile. The error is that certain file, which is part of the profile, can't be overwritten because it is in use. Then it goes on to attempt to load a local profile, which, of course, it can't find.

...I have used the wrong password. What sort of debuging information should I look for and how can I obtain debug info? If I use --debugmsg +relay it put out a hug amount of stuff. I would like to learn how to troubleshoot these sort of things so that I can start working on getting several of our winblows applications (here at work) running on linux. This is probably redundant, I couldn't find it in the archive, however. With Winblows NT you can set shares up and allow a few people write access and everyone read access. I thought I had seen some docs on how to do that with Samba, but I cannot find it now. Does Samba allow for this complex sharing, if so how? . . .or am I going to have to get creative to do this? The box has two nic's in it. inside net is 192.168.1.0/24 the outside is a /28 net I have uip forwarding running and also shorewall. I also have an older Samba box running on the internal net. The problem is this. All the winblows boxes can see the old samba server but not the new server. They can get out to the internet through the new box so they are communicating with that box.
