Installed New version of Samba for HPUX 2.2.7 - Winbi nd doesn't w ork

creating user directories with default group
Hello. I've got my AD DC working and I can login with various user accounts and domain admin accounts. I've got the home directory being create when I create the user profile. Only problem is that it creates it with a group of "domain users" withe a permissions of rwxrwx---. I would like the default group be "domain admins" for every created home dir. Is this

After a few time lost access to the Samba server (server samba - a member of the AD Win2k3)

Problem with UID and GID
...a GID of 4 but on the fileserver it returns 10004. Also concerning is that the DC returns 3000004 for Domain Admins and the fileserver returns 10017. I know I'm probably missing something but I'm just not sure where to look next. Furthermore, you recommended the user use the idmap lines to ensure consistent UID/GID numbers across devices, yet you suggested I turn the exact same lines off in my config. Why is this? I understand our situations are different, but when should we set winbind to use the AD backend and set UID/GID numbers? How do do this so Linux-base file services can be accessed by users and come out the same? To be specific, these are the commented lines in my config file.
