search for: win2000sp3

hi all! i'm pretty new to linux and just installed a mandrake 8.1 on a little machine in my network. I got the samba server up and running and it even is visible in my windows network folder. but when i try to connect from windows 2000 sp3 the server refuses my login attempts even root... any idea? /christian

...amr_set_userinfo: Unable to unmarshall SAMR_Q_SET_USERINFO./ I changed the local policy to: * Do Not Check for Ownership of Roaming Profile Folders * Add the Administrators security group to roaming user profiles Strange, since i use SP4 i can't save the profiles anymore (even with Win2000SP3-machines). The only solution, which i found, is to remove the machine entries from the smbpasswd-file and take them into the domain back again. But, this helps only sometimes.... Any ideas?

...RTD.DLL (File Version 6.0.8797.0) and it prevents WinAmp from crashing but ... it still doesn't play the FLAC files. These FLAC files were generated by FLAC v1.0.3 and worked fine under WinAmp2.77 with the FLAC plugin. Is there something else I need to do? Erik Turner Environment: WinAmp3, Win2000SP3
