OCFS Database too slow
Hi All, we are using Red Hat 2.1 Kernel e38 along with MSA 1000. ocfs version being used is $ rpm -qa | grep ocfs ocfs-tools-1.0.10-1 ocfs-2.4.9-e-enterprise-1.0.12-1 ocfs-support-1.0.10-1 Database Version is 9.2.0.5 However we find that the performance of the database on OCFS is too slow. even a select count(1) from all_tables takes like a while to complete. We initially assumed RAC is

[LLVMdev] Failed to decode profile dump with llvm-prof
Turns out I was using `opt -profile-loader` instead of `opt -path-profile-loader`. Switching to the path profile loader fixed the problem. AW: OCFS 1.0.9-6 performance with EVA 6000 Storage
...to 2000 I/O's per second PER box, which could easily be close to 10k I/O per second if the hartbeat is per node. Am I right in this assumption? In Jeram's case, having 5 nodes, 51 mounts. Would the hartbeat generate 2k or 10k I/O's? In any case, if I'm correct, this would then (as Wim states) be somewhat exhausting for most parts of the storage system. Even 2000 I/O's per second could easily exhaust a LUN group in most arrays. Thanks for an interesting discussion. //magnus -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- Von: ocfs-users-bounces@oss.oracle.com [mailto:ocfs-users-bounces@...

SIP (peer to peer?)
...etween the two sip phones( hard or soft) passing through the asterisk server (on UDP layer) Isn't SIP a protocol that (after that it has established the call) , he connects the two users with each other? Maybe a stupid question, but I'm not a SIP expert. Thank you for your help. Wim -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [LLVMdev] LLVM-GCC and Symbian
Hi, I noticed that there is some kind of reference to Symbian support in LLVM-GCC, and I'm trying to find out more about it. I configured llvm- gcc-4.2-2.5 using: > ../configure --prefix=/opt/stow/llvm-gcc-2.5/ --enable-llvm=/home/wim/Documents/Sources/llvm-2.5/OBJ_ROOT/ --disable-bootstrap --disable-multilib --enable-checking --target arm-none-symbianelf --enable-languages=objc,c,c++ --disable-libada At this point, everything seems to work, with the following warning coming up: > *** This configuration is not supported in...
