Centos 6.6 Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket /var/lib/MySQL/MySQL.sock (error 2002)
...r a few weeks ago and found the solution just by reinstalling the MySQL db but I have tried to deploy the same fix on our client server otherwise known as studio-b client but unfortunately this has not solved the problem any assistance with this would be very much appreciated.

Error copying long name word files from NT Server to Samba server
...m Linux.
The problem seems to appear with certain long-name files. But I cannot find
the pattern for this behavior.
Is there anything reported about it?
Should I change or add any parameter in the smb.conf file?
Will I have problems with future long name files?

Problems with a COBOL program
...e already tried all advice about variable concerning "sharing
stuff" inside smb.conf but i am sure there must be something else i
cannot figure out.
I should have this job done pretty soon and sincerely i am at a loss
with that problem. Any kind of help would be welcomed.

Tip: Apparently, the cobol program controls multiuser access internally
but i could solve it with multiuser applications developed in clipper

LLVM z80 backend and llvm-dis missing?
Inspired by Jason Turner's talk at CppCon 2016: Jason Turner “Rich Code

I got interested in writing a Zilog Z80 backend for LLVM. Jason actually
did no such thing, but instead wrote a x86-to-6502 translator (reassembler
