Programming Tools CTV
Hi all, Sorry if this doesn't end up in the thread. Tobias Verbeke forwarded that e-mail to me, because he thought I would be interested in maintaining the Programming Tools CTV. I wasn't subscribed to R-devel yet, but I would indeed like to volunteer to maintain the Programming Tools CTV. It will be my first time creating a CTV, so some guidance on getting it setup will be appreciated.

Programming Tools CTV
Dear Willem, Personally, I use the R-forge project for the distribution CTV : https://r-forge.r-project.org/projects/ctv/ It?s an alternative option to github. Samba, FreeBSD, Win95 and me
Hi, I have 2 machines set up, one with Win95 the other FreeBSD running smbd and nmbd. Allthought I can gain access from the Win95 box to the the shares defined in smb.conf file on the FreeBSD box, I can only do so if 'valid users = root', any other username will get access denied error messages. Using the username map directive makes no difference to the problem. I suspect the output of

[PATCH net-next] virtio-net: on tx, only call napi_disable if tx napi is on
From: Willem de Bruijn <willemb at google.com> As of tx napi, device down (`ip link set dev $dev down`) hangs unless tx napi is enabled. Else napi_enable is not called, so napi_disable will spin on test_and_set_bit NAPI_STATE_SCHED. Only call napi_disable if tx napi is enabled. panel.text and saving to pdf
Dear all, I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I have some unexplained behaviour when saving a lattice graph including text to a pdf file. The text seems to move around. It must have something to do with the way coordinates are set in devices other than jpg. Any suggestions would be helpful Willem Here is some example code setwd("c:/willem/research/misc") today <-

[PATCH net-next] vhost_net: do not stall on zerocopy depletion
From: Willem de Bruijn <willemb at google.com> Vhost-net has a hard limit on the number of zerocopy skbs in flight. When reached, transmission stalls. Stalls cause latency, as well as head-of-line blocking of other flows that do not use zerocopy. Instead of stalling, revert to copy-based transmission. Tested by sending two udp flows from guest to host, one with payload of

plot only x- and y-axis with origin, no box()
hi all, I'm trying for quite some time to have an x- and y-axis, but no entire box. >plot(..,axes=F) >axis(1) >axis(2) Gives this, but their axes do not go to the origin. Quite a number of people find this gap between the two axes disturbing. Has anyone an idea how to let these axes go to the origin? thank you in advance [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
