metadata on the wiki
So wiki discussion on the new metadata format is ongoing. I'd like to move some things about a bit. MDMF is a discussion of the metadata XML format itself, Metadata gives some background an overview and a few old sample cases. I'm not sure how many people read the wiki talk page so I thought I'd ask here if there were any objections before doing it. What would most likely happen

xm list dropping domain?
I rebooted xenU from console (dom2) and exited (ctr-]). xm list does not report 2 anymore yet I can log into 2 via console and it is running just fine. Is this a bug? I''ll pull/rebuild and see what happens.. (this is xen-2.0, cset 1.1321.1.1, rh7.3 dom0/dom1) ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IT Product Guide on

Solaris 2.7, and printing

depends on "autoconf: regenerate configure scripts with 4.4 version" This series removes some of the really old deadwood from the tools build and makes some other things which are on their way out configurable at build time with a default depending on how far down the slope I judge them to be. * nuke in tree copy of libaio * nuke obsolete tools: xsview, miniterm, lomount & sv *

In response to my post regarding core-sdi's secure syslogd - ssyslogd. Sorry it has taken me so long to post this...been super busy... I didn't get a lot of responses back from the list regarding ssyslogd. Just a couple of people who said they were using it, and it was working. I grabbed the latest version (ssyslogd-1.22) from http://www.core-sdi.com/ssyslog/. I had a problem compiling

ssyslogd (encryped syslog)
I was wondering if any one has had any experiance using ssyslogd. http://www.core-sdi.com/ssyslog/ Secure Syslog v1.21 I have read a bit about it, but have been unable to find any good linux reference. I was wondering if people have been using it with any success. And if not, are there any other encrypted syslog solutions out there? [mod: Please reply to Mark, he'll summarize in about a
