Access to session data
...ver,
def before_save
self.changed_by = session[:user_name]
end
does not, complaining that session is undefined :-(.
Obviously session is not available everywhere. How do I reference the
session correctly from inside the member class?

smbfs support under Solaris8?
The smbmount man page states that the kernel must support the smbfs file
system for ambmount to function. I've been unable to determine whether
Solaris8 supports smbfs. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has some
experience here.

I have just successfully launched Printmaster Gold Version 3 (for Window
3.1 or 95; wine configured as Windows 2000) using version 0.9.30 on
Xubuntu Edgy (with updates) with the following caveat: Printmaster must
be launched twice because on first launch the following error dialog
appears: 'Cannot initialize 16 bit thunk server

Creating Program Manager groups/launchers

Is it possible to create groups in Program Manager that persist across
invocations of wine? I have tried, but when I relaunch progman I just
get an empty screen. I haven't tried to create program launchers, but
would like to know that as well.
