I tried to add a user to my linux box, and may misstyped the command :)
Although everything: Now when I reboot the Box, it says on any Deamon it

max concurrent CIFS connections
Hello,
I need some help please. I have been told from an administrator that Samba
does only support up to 3.000 concurrent CIFS connections and each
connections reserve 5MB of memory.
If this is true that I would need 15GB of memory to support 3.000 concurrent
CIFS sessions how many people have this amount of memory in any server?

Migration to Samba using external LDAP server
Hello,
we are in the process of implementing a samba server running 3.0.14 and an
external LDAP server running Microsoft ADAM. We have it also running with
Open LDAP for UNIX under Redhat. It works fine for every user account that
accesses the samba instance. The user mapping is done and all works fine.
Now we have the major problem of the migration and I would need some
guidance here

SAMBA 3 as PDC - W2K/WXP Pro logon trouble
I have a Samba 3 PDC running with an LDAP backend on Red Hat 8. All
authentication appears to be working correctly but I can't login to the
domain from a W2K or WXP Pro workstation after I have successfully joined
them to the domain. If I login locally to the workstation I can browse the
Samba shares just fine. I have checked the schannel and sign or seal
settings on both the workstations
