MAC problems
FreeBSD version: 5.1-RELEASE Hi, I'm quite new to FreeBSD. I've check list archives and read a handbook, but I didn't find solution to my problem and I hope this is not off-topic. I've installed 5.1-RELEASE, enabled ACLs on the filesystems and I wanted to test MAC features. I'm also new to MAC, so perhaps this is some my mistake. When I enable mac_biba or mac_lomac (in

src/etc/rc.firewall simple ${fw_pass} tcp from any to any established

For years I assumed the few sites I had difficulty with were cases pppoed MTU != 1500, from not having installed tcpmssd on my 4.*-RELEASE, but then running 6.1-RELEASE I realised that wasn't the problem. http://www.web.de Still failed, &

Orinoco 802.11b PC Card doesn't work on STABLE
Hi, I have Orinoco 802.11b PC Card from Proxim. I plugged it to pcmcia slot, but It doesn't work - no blinking LEDs, no wi0 in ifconfig. I have 7.1-PRERELEASE, laptop Prestigio Nobile 157. On NetBSD seems working, but NetBSD is not friendly with me. if_wi driver included in kernel. ----- dmesg Copyright (c) 1992-2008 The FreeBSD Project.
