[LLVMdev] debug info for global variables when optimising

Yes, thanks, I hadn't noticed the -strip-debug-declare. Incidentally I only "see" the failures because some "TEST-FAIL" messages whizz up and off the screen. The actual "make

debugging pxelinux
I have reason to believe that an odd box that is having boot trouble has three instances of "!PXE" in the chunk of memory that "Method D" should look at. I thought I would try to find out how pxelinux copes with this, by trying to insert printfs in pxe_init, but nothing gets printed. I can spew lots of output if I set DEBUGOPT = -DDEBUG=1 -DDEBUG_STDIO -DCORE_DEBUG=1 but

Could someone email me with the code for glm.nb ?
Hi -- subject says all. I just want the code for that function, which I guess was in Venables and Ripley as early as 1994. Well, and for any of the sub-functions that glm.nb calls. I can't install the entire MASS library. If the code for just glm.nb (again, don't want to touch the MASS library, last time I tried to install it was a complete nightmare and fiasco) is somewhere on a

Lattice: splom plots for different factors with correlation in lower.panel
Hello list, I am looking to create a figure for my dataset using splom, where there is a splom subplot for each level of a factor within, for example, a 2x2 layout. For each subplot, I wish to put the r-value between each variable pair in the lower panel. The code I have thus far is below, using the iris dataset so that it is reproducible. This almost does what I want, but for some reason

[JOB] Web Application Developer
Hi all, I work for Codeweavers.net <http://www.codeweavers.net/> - not to be confused with the US CodeWeavers of CrossOver fame. We produce enterprise software, mainly for the finance sector. We are looking for a developer to take on a young project that I started. I''m becoming the company''s senior network admin for the next 12 months at least, so we need

DAHDI: TCM PCI Master abort
I'm assuming this is an issue with DAHDI. I am running asterisk 1.4.26 on Fedora 11 with dahdi-linux kernel modules 2.2.0.2-65 (both from ATrpms). I have a "Wildcard TDM400P REV I (4 modules)" with one POTS line and three local extensions (never can remember which is FXS and which is FXO )-: and a couple of SIP phones; small home system. About once or twice a month this happens.

HEAD/TNG Problems.
...both linux and also, using 'samedit' to TNG. This is the name of my HEAD samba server running. I've changed the security = share, and the server works on the network. I can browse shares. I've changed it to =domain and run 'net rpc join -S csmsrv-tng' and loads of stuff whizzed past the screen, ending in something along the lines of OK. I'm presuming that much went ok. I added a user on the system (csm) using samedit. 'createuser csm -p test'. It said it went ok. (while I'm talking about that - could anyone tell me what '-i' does?). When I tri...

[LLVMdev] debug info for global variables when optimising
I see that llvm-gcc now has some support for generating debug info when optimising - thanks! However, it still doesn't generate debug info for global variables when optimising. Is there any reason for this? With the attached patch, the whole test suite passes for me with TEST=ipodbgopt. Thanks, Jay. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name:

Can I copy my .wine??
I tried doing scp between two machines on my LAN. It whizzed along at great speed for a long time, mostly displaying messages over and over saying either something about permission (denied, I presume), or else about too many levels of symlinks. What I use it for is GPS/map software -- legacy proprietary stuff from Garmin and Maptech, to which I have ad...

First post-xenbus-change USB patch
Here''s the first snapshot of the USB code after updating to the new xenbus. The xenidc code provides a much higher level of abstraction than the new xenbus code so the changes didn''t affect the usb driver much. I had to put in empty frontend_changed and backend_changed functions because the new xenbus code segfaults without them. The USB code doesn''t need them because
