slight irritation using digest (from the ports)
Hello Folks!
For a special application I needed to create digests (or hashes) using
the whirlpool algorithem. It was kind of hard to find something that
actually did that. But I found digest in the ports tree - ok, with some
help from someone who seemed to know what to look for. :-)
What irritates me is the Wikipedia-page on Whirlpool:

Chain-loading from WDS to PXELinux on a different tftp server
...best you can expect from models 2-3 years old is Legacy PXE ROM
and only EFI support for booting from USB/HDD - correct me if I'm wrong.
Moving on from that we NEED to use WDS as we have chosen SCCM+WDS to do
our MSFT deployments.
Many people say SCCM / Windows PE is "flakey" (source whirlpool.net.au)
but orders are orders. It does automate the deployment of masses of
Microsoft workstations, provided you spend twice as long fiddling with
the task sequences etc http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2034700

SPA-3000 generating one-ring calls
This is a wierd one. Can't figure it out. I have an SPA-3000 at the
house handling my incoming line. It's setup to direct the incoming call
to asterisk. Works great 99% of the time.
A few times a day, I'm getting calls that ring once internally and are
then hungup. I managed to get a detailed log [1] of what's happening
today and it looks to me that the SPA is acting wierd.

Congestion/Forbidden issue with new carrier
Hi everyone,
having a issue with asterisk and my new Voip providers service.
Iv set up many asterisk systems before but never seen this and have
tried to fix this with no luck..
I have used this exact same sort of setup for 5 other providers and

...a window, there were a number of
options to specify how the window dissappears:
1. fade to transparent (simple and classy!)
2. crack like glass into several pieces and fall off the screen in
interesting ways.
3. fly off the screen in a 3d kind of way (tilting, perhaps bending too)
4. sucked into a whirlpool/blackhole in the middle of the screen (or a
corner), becoming increasingly distorted by gravity as it goes
5. scrunched up like a piece of paper and tossed into the trashcan

VSP authentication to incorrect context
All, I'm hoping someone can direct me as to why when someone calls my
DID Asterisk tries to authenticate the incoming call on my outbound
context. If I remove the GoTalk context I can receive incoming calls.
Outbound calls work fine while I have the GoTalk context in place.
The error I am getting when someone calls the DID is

Two questions about Asterisk@home and backups.
First question, is there a forum for asterisk@home specific questions?
I've asked what must have been questions about asterisk@home here and
gotten some indication they weren't welcome.
Second, does anyone know what files need to be backed up? I don't need
to back up the entire system since I can reinstall from the CD in fairly
quick order, however, other than the files in

Zimbra vs. Scalix vs. et. al.
Well, I stumbled onto zimbra....
I have a Scallix system built, but still have some rough edges to try to
smooth. Like the way it works with sendmail, no dnsbl's will work as
sendmail sees all mail as coming from locohost (scalix). Still battling
that one which is when I ran across Zimbra.
So, this made me start wondering.
Are there other exchange server-like products out there?

Unable to make outgoing calls with Internode
Surely there must be someone here who can help me with this problem.
I have spent weeks trying to get this damned service to work with no
luck. I have incoming calls working, but no outgoing. If get outgoing
working then incoming don't work.
I have sent this problem to this list a couple of times with little or
no response, and I _really_ need some help to sort it out.
I have an asterisk
