Rsync / SSH / Cygwin .. permission problems..
...n't use it, but it doesn't appear to do so. The command as I run it is; rsync -rlztpv --rsh=ssh --delete remote-fs:/path/to/the/files . or rsync -rlztv --rsh=ssh --delete remote-fs:/path/to/the/files . With the "p" option included, there are no permission bits set on the files whatsover. Without the "p" option, it sets the files to 0200. Any ideas here? Both systems have the Domain groups in the groups file, and have the rsync user as well as local users in the passwd file. I would prefer to not have to have ALL domain users in the password file for cygwin if pos...

Dovecot Oy merger with Open-Xchange AG
...t I will not give names. At least that is the impression I have which might be entirely wrong since when big companies begin to ask for large sums of money we just have to move away due to the small budget. Anyway this is not to about judging the move. Which I cannot do since I have no knowledge whatsover of the Dovecot enterprise internals and the difficulties that come with managing a leading software product. And, secondly, since I am (my employer ie) a non paying customer!! I was just struck by the fact that no one has commented on it. I wish Dovecot the best in the new environment. Andrea...

IAXy and DHCP
Hi, I've got an IAXy, and provided it with connection data - unfortunately didn't provide a fixed ip address, but left with dhcp. Everthing went fine, and I could work a while with it. After a restart of IAXy, it didn't negotiate a new IP address, nor used the old one. I even restarted the DHCP server and cleared its cache. No success. I went to another office with a different

Export/save csv-file to desktop of user?
...teams.txt",:disposition => ''attachment'', :type => "txt/csv" With or without the ''send_file''-line, I do get a file in my rails_root, but not on the desktop of the user. My browsers all insist on showing a page, and refuse to download anything whatsover. When I tried send_data, I got an ''unknown size'' error. I know/think I obviously made a very silly mistake somewhere, but I can''t find the right answer. Could someone please help me out? Dovecot Oy merger with Open-Xchange AG
Hi all, Today I can finally announce that Dovecot Oy company has merged with Open-Xchange AG. This helps us to get more Dovecot developers, support people and so on. Most importantly, eventually it should allow me to get back to doing what I like the most: Designing new and interesting stuff for Dovecot and perfecting the old stuff :) OX is a great match to Dovecot going forward. They also really

...averaging around 3.5Mbit, so we should have plenty available. Sangoma statistics aren't showing anything out of the ordinary - the system is performing as it should. We have two other servers that are identical in configuration that serve the main office, and they have no sound quality issues whatsover - the only difference between the server having the issues and the ones that aren't is the connection to the users - one is a local LAN connection, the other is the WAN. I have set up an extension that calls the milliwatt app, and records the call to a file. I can call in from either a Zap...

Zero listeners on icecast stats
Hi there, I just set up a system of fallback streams for our free radio station here but I have this weird problem: it always show zero listeners. Our setup is this: We have a listening mount point for people - that fall back to a live streaming from a cellular phone - that fall back to a live streaming from a base station (a pc), that fall back to a 24/7 archive streaming. No matter what the
