The command below is run as a cronjob and it works great. rsync -avu --rsh "ssh -l root" root@servername:/var/lib/mysql/backups/ /backups/mysql/ We have a new server that will replace the old server that rsync pulls backups from. On the system that is running rsync, I switched the servername in the command above to the new

AGI Dial channel status
...i guys, I'm writing an AGI program and use EXEC DIAL to do the dialing. The result reply from Asterisk doesn't come back until the dialing times out, or the channel is hung up after the call is connected with remote party and finally hung up. Is it possible to tell from the return code, or whaterver other ways, that the EXEC DIAL went through and the call was connected? Or that the dialing timed out? Thanks, S.P -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/attachments/20061227/0243182e/attachment.htm

Warning in logs: gid of user does not exist
Hello. I've setup a FreeBSD 4.x machine with Samba 2.x and and OpenLDAP backend. I recently upgraded to Samba 3.0.10 and put "passdb backend=ldapsam_compat" in smb.conf. Now, everythings seems to work all right, but I see a lot of this entries in the logs: Feb 17 19:42:27 xxxxx smbd[44170]: get_alias_user_groups: gid of user yyyyyyy doesn't exist. ...not have them. This, opposed to the first idea would let us link whatever we want, but we could silently loose some optimizations. I like the idea that you proposed - it is somewhere between these two ideas, as you limit the potential loses to only some functions and in the same time you can link whaterver IR you like. However, if you agree that the option 2 - stripping invariant.groups from whole modules - addresses all of your concerns, then I would propose to firstly go with this idea and then optimize it if we would find a problem with it. I feel that it might be an overkill to implement it on th...

Windows XP sees fedora14/samba3 shares but not fedora20/samba4 shares
Hello, A windows XP machine 'X' (the only one left in the LAN) sees all fedora14/samba3 shares on f14 machine 'A' but cannot see fedora20/samba4 shares on machines 'B' or 'C'. 'X' can ping all of the others by name, and all of the others 'A', 'B' and 'C' CAN see ALL of the other shares INCLUDING on the XP machine 'X'.
