...ed in the speed of updates, really much faster in Centos! Is there a similar way to upgrade a Fedora Core 1 server to Centos 3.4? Would it be possible? I saw some messages in the list about it (archives) but I don't know if in the time the version of Centos was 3.4, and some people said that it whas not possible because would be a downgrade of some packages...

I concluded this was a windows thing because the origin of the code

As for the last bit required for specifying media mappings: I cannot see a specification for what the granule pos means on a ogg pcm stream? My suggestion is the total number of PCM samples encoded after all frames finished on this ogg page. Whas that the intention?
By the way, I think it would be advantageous to specify the bos page mapping in a bit pattern as is common within the IETF. This will help identify if any fields cross byte boundaries and would therefore be hard to parse (which I haven't seen in the ogg pcm spec, but this f...

It did turn up on non-Windows platforms in
https://reviews.llvm.org/D61446. The name of the file where this trick
is used "LinkAllPasses.h" should give a hint what it is used for.
Looking into the entire history of the file, I have no idea how one
would have concluded this whas a Windows thing. It first occurred in

LLVM tools themselves, like opt, call some function for each LLVM
component directly (such as initializeCore()) to achieve the same
thing. Howwer clang does include...

NtfsTest in Syslinux Releases
Hello, all.
I'm just wondering if it'd be possible to include symbol-stripped versions
of win32/ntfstest/ntfstest.exe and win64/ntfstest/ntfstest.exe in future
Syslinux releases. That way, users could use it while not burdening folks
just doing a usual build of Syslinux. If not (scope creep?), no problem.

Yes. It should have been specified on the wiki-draft.

Forking a call
Hi,
Using 1.6.2.13.
I'd like to know how I can force Asterisk to fork a call. To simplify
things, Let's say I have an out context (for outbound calls) and an in (for
inbound). If person A wants to call person B, and both are on my servers, I
don`t want to send the call out. I want all this to happen internally on my
server.
The problem is if I use some condition to send

install Capi !
Please suggest best and easiest approach ?
Thank you !

State of the gluster project
...I understand it.
I know ceph has snapshots so for us this seems a
better alternative. What is your experience of ceph?
I am sorry to hear about your problems with gluster,
from my experience we had quite some issues with gluster
when it was "young", I thing the first version we installed
whas 3.5 or so. It was also extremly slow, an ls took forever.
But later versions has been "kind" to us and worked quite well
and file access has become really comfortable.
Best regards

unusual use of getenv
Oh, right, this stuff. I guess the non-windows solution might've been a
volatile read, for instance? So maybe not so much that the general
machinery isn't needed, but that perhaps MSVC does something interesting
with a volatile read or whatever other solution might've been used.
Hmm, not sure why the whole file was added only when MSVC support was added
- if it is a "static

Openswan 2.4.6rc5 under CentOS 4.3
Hello,
I'm trying to get Openswan running in a CentOS 4.3 environment. I want to
modify as little as possible so that the machine can be kept up to date
easily. I'd rather not compile a special kernel, but if that's the only
solution, no problem (I don't need NAT traversal).
It's running kernel 2.6.9-34.0.2.EL. Installed the kerneldevel RPM (and
kernel src rpm as well). I

SIP authentication bug with insecure= lines?

Yet another SIP authentication problem.
I have SER running, and passing calls to a PRI-enabled Asterisk server from a large range of Media Terminal Adapters, and a few other Asterisk systems set up as "clients". I have this PRI-enabled Asterisk server functioning as a very simple media gateway to hand off my toll-free calls to a PRI -

Yes, it show an error about maximum kerberos tickets exceeded but I take

Permission denied on GPT.ini (Event ID 1058)
I just saw this thread while browsing my emails and I want to report
that I get this frequently but randomly on every Samba4 domain I run. It
is completely random in that it affects a PC today, but a week from now
that same PC may work just fine. It may then affect a different PC which
had no issues prior.
Also, if I click the link to "gpt.ini" in the event log the file DOES
open and I
