how to plot multiple density functions in one graph
Hello,
I am new to R and have two easy questions.
How can you plot multiple density functions in one graph? I have five beta
densities that I would like to plot in one graph. I understand how to plot
one beta density as a line:
plot (x,(dbeta(x,shape1=,shape2=,), type ="l")
Does the Pareto distribution need to be added to R with an additional
package?
thanks,
John

AD: Password problem?
Hello
I can do wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g to see users and groups from our
domain.
But if I do getent passwd I only see local passwords (and acessing the
shares from a winxp machine failes with incorrect name/password).
What can be wrong?
Thanks,
Jonas

Windows 2003 SP1 breaks kerberos on samba?
Hi All,
I am in no way a samba expert, but we recently joined a FC3 machine to a
windows 2003 domain using ADS. Kerberos worked perfectly in both
directions until we approved the windows 2003 server SP1 update.
After this, we could still use wbinfo -g, wbinfo -u, wbinfo -t etc, but
chowning files refused to work "invalid user". You also could not
authenticate against the samba shares

Dear R Core Team,
Help to 'read.table' claims that
'read.csv' is identical to 'read.table' except for the defaults.
However, 'read.table' seems
