Capistrano: update instead of checkout?
Hello, Just started to use Capistrano for deployment and everything works beautifully and as advertised. Thanks Jamis for this great piece of software. However, in my case, the deploy task takes quite some time since my SVN repository resides on a different continent than my app/db server and I''ve frozen all the rails code in the vendor dir and checked in. All in all my app sums up to

widelinks_warning - but unix extensions *are* off
...down slightly. This option is enabled (i.e. smbd will follow symbolic links) by default. Default: follow symlinks = yes So again.. Your setup is incorrect, if you wont look/read.. well, you on your own then. vfs_streams_xattr and create mask = 0640 don't play well together
..."create mask" is only intended for files (and we don't expect permission changes when modifiying metadata anyway, do we?). Is this a bug or a misconfiguration on our side? I am happy to file a bug report, if it turns out to be one. Any thoughts? widelinks_warning - but unix extensions *are* off
Hi all Since we changed our installation from Samba 3.x to 4.x (currently 4.2.5 on Solaris 11.1), we repeatedly encounter the following 'widelinks_warning', originating from Windows Server 2012 R2 RDS clients: [2015/10/29 15:50:38.837702, 0] ../source3/param/loadparm.c:4306(widelinks_warning) Share 'data' has wide links and unix extensions enabled. 3.6.15/fix for BUG 9817 breaks our cross-domain support
...th/auth_winbind.c as it used to be) did "fix" it for us and brought back the cross-domain support we currently depend on. This is not to say that Samba is wrong: the reasoning for patch 9817 sounds obvious after all. But somehow it does not work for our peculiar setup. How to interrupt a zpool scrub?
Dear all Is there a way to stop a running scrub on a zfs pool? Same question applies to a running resilver. Both render our fileserver unusable due to massive CPU load so we''d like to postpone them. In the docs it says that resilvering and scrubbing survive a reboot, so I am not even sure if a reboot would stop scrubbing or resilvering. Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers, Thomas

''requests'' is a bad table name
... pretty obvious, isn''t it? Because you end up with a Request model and hence @request instance variables - and there you go: marvellous clash with the controller environment that is established in instance variables ... such as @request. After renaming my model to ''Inquiry'' everything just worked fine. Stupid as I am, that insight took me some time to figure out, so
