rpcclient and WERR_INVALID_PRINTER_NAME
...-c 'adddriver "Windows NT x86"
"SSFP102:cupsdrv5.dll:SSFP102.ppd:cupsui5.dll:cups5.hlp:NULL:RAW:NULL"'
Printer Driver SSFP102 successfully installed.
Running command: rpcclient localhost -N -U'uuuu%xxxx'
-c 'setdriver SSFP102 SSFP102'
result was WERR_INVALID_PRINTER_NAME
tdbdump ntdrivers.tdb shows that the drivers are installed
searching on google doesn't show any solution :-(
any hints?

CUPS and Upload printer drivers ...
Greetings ...
I'm using the "cupsaddsmb" to upload the CUPS printer drivers onto
my Samba server, but seem to be having problems with new printer
queues. I find if that I reload Samba, the upload works fine, otherwise
I get "result was WERR_INVALID_PRINTER_NAME", which I think maybe Samba
needs to ask CUPS if the queue is new or something.
Could any boby help me with this problem?
Thanks

cupsaddsmb
Hi all,
I'm trying to add printers with cupsaddsmb on Samba 3.0.20 (Mandrake Linux)
with an LDAP backend. I've followed the howto on the samba page and have the
error:
result was WERR_INVALID_PRINTER_NAME
generated when I run it. So far I've Googled for the solution but nothing
listed has helped. The full set of errors are as follows:
Cupsaddsmb returns:
[root@h2lptserver etc]# cupsaddsmb -H SMB1 -h localhost -U BGS\\root -v -a

Printer Problems
Before anyone responds I would like to let everyone know my problem is
fixed :) The problem was lpr would only spool so big of a file, so I
had to add a -s option to it. Thanks once again for this great piece of
software...

Samba + CUPS error
Hello.
I've been trying to set CentOS 3.1 as a print server for PC running NT4
using Samba + CUPS. I've successfully done this with Fedora Core 1 but have
encountered the following error after running cupsaddsmb in CentOS 3.1:
WERR_INVALID_PRINTER_NAME.
This error also occurs with FC1, but is solved by restarting the smb service
i.e. service smb restart. Run cupsaddsmb again after restarting smb and,
cupsaddsmb will succeed.
However, restarting the smb service does not solve the problem with CentOS
3.1.
