WERR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER if more than 21 printers on enumprinters
If I have more then 21 printers in smb.conf I get
[2002/08/15 12:30:50, 5] rpc_parse/parse_prs.c:prs_werror(618)
      000c status: WERR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER
with the rpc "enumprinters".
What the heck is this ?
I did check samba.mbox, samba-technical.mbox and groups.google.com yet,
but as far as my grep brings me, without success.
Other problems I'm fighting with is:

win 7, samba 3.4.7, error 0x000003e6 with some printers
...ils (client side) with
error 0x000003e6.
The strange thing is that:
1) trying the same connection against samba 3.0.11 works (alas, no
domain functionality with that old version) and
2) two of the failing printers share the same driver with one that works
Looking at the level 10 log I see some WERR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER errors,
but those are present also in the log for the printer that can connect
successfully.
Diffing the log between a functioning printer and a failing one, the
only difference (apart from the names) is that the failing printer has
the PRINTER_ATTRIBUTE_PUBLISHED set.
Needless to say, windows...

Samba Print Driver Errors
Hola folks,
I'm experiencing a problem trying to get drivers to upload/download properly
with Samba 2.2.5 and CUPS. I've read the various HOWTOs and have managed to
get drivers to upload, except that it errors out, saying that it was unable
to apply the changes.
The driver files do successfully upload to the proper directory on the Samba
server.
If I try to do things by hand:

cupsaddsmb rpcclient error
I am running samba 2.2.6 and cups 1.1.16. I can't get cupsaddsmb to
complete successfully. I'm at an end here, I can't think of anything
else to try after 2 weeks of searching the web. It copies the drivers
to the print$ share directory, however the SetPrinter command fails on
the rpcclient command and it returns with an NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL
error. At the SetPrinter failure, it

rpcclient problem
i can use the smbclient -L just fine to get a list of shares off my NT4 (Alpha processor) server. My problem lies with rpcclient. It lets me login but then samtest gives the following error:
smb: \> samtest
samtest
SAM Encryption Test
SAMR_R_UNKNOWN_38: Unknown NT error
smb: \>
all i need to be able to do is change the nt password, but the ntpass command gives the same error.

No access check deleting printer drivers
Hello list!
On all my samba installations (3.0.20b) I can delete all unused printer
drivers with rpcclient regardless which user name or password i use.
Is this a general feature or might it depend on my settings?
Thanks,
Martin
