Running 2 SAMBA4 DC Replication WERR_BADFILE error
Hello to all,
I succeded with joining a samba4 dc to an existing samba4 domain. Things
work well but one error message coming from the master:
Dns child failed

Dreplsrv_notify: Failed to sent DSReplicaSync to
.?the joined samba4 DC?

NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND: WERR_BADFILE .
Where the joined DC succeds with: dreplserv_op_pull _source(WERR_OK).
How can I get rid of the error: NT_STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND:

resolve. Other DNS records supplied by BIND_DLZ are working. I tried
adding a host file entry, but that didn't see to work either. I see
similar for all other DCs (different UUID values in log).

Replications errors on 4.5.0 (WERR_BADFILE)
...d a force sync didn't resolve it. I
shutdown all BDCs, demoted them with --remove-other-dead-server then
joined new BDCs with new names. At first replication was intermittently
failing (consecutive failures counter kept resetting), but it seemed OK,
just slow if anything. Now they all say WERR_BADFILE and I can only get
the consecutive failure counter to reset with a force sync.
I also see "The RPC server is unavailable" when trying to connect to any
DC via Active Directory Users and Computers.
I've had a ton of issues after upgrading to 4.5.0. Could I safely upgrade?

A cupsaddsmb for that printer did not help, and neither did deleting the printer from cups and creating a new one. A brand new printer in cups with a different name does work, however. We're currently running the default cups and samba ( 3.6.23 ) on EL6, and our smb.conf is below.

cjl has full administrator privileges and has no trouble manipulating
the print$ share. It doesn't look like a permissions problem to me,
unless it's some specific printer admin issue. It looks like there
have been some changes regarding "printer admin" being deprecated....
