how to exclude large files from backup list.
Hi,
I am using a computer to back up files from another computer automatically. I want to exclude large files from backing up. How can I do that?

But kernel memory is still accounted in user's applications. Any suggestion
on how to chase the issue is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

can not lvcreate after lvm snapshot and "xm mem-set" and lvremove
...n''t kill the lvcreate process, couln''t do anything lvm. I have
to reboot the machine.
My vg0 is on /dev/md1, which is a software raid 1.
My dom0 os is fedora core 4. Xen version is 3.0-testing
So what causes this? What''s my work around I can use to do lvm snapshot.

So now my question boils down to - what is it that you are trying to do
that makes you think you have to disable kernel memory accounting?

How to reserve space for a file on a zfs filesystem
Hi all,
How to reserve a space on a zfs filesystem? For mkfiel or dd will write
data to the
block, it is time consuming. whiel "mkfile -n" will not really hold the
space.
And zfs''s set reservation only work on filesytem, not on file?
Could anyone provide a solution for this?

reboot doesn''t work in route configuration

In bridge mode, reboot works, but not in route mode.
This is in xen-unstable.

vif''s disappear after dom1 reboot
Today I found I can not ping some of my domU''s. I logged in to dom0,
did a "xm list", all domU are there. Then I did a "ifconfig" and
surprised to find some of vif''s disappeared!
Like for example. "xm list" show dom13 is alive, but "brctl show"
shows no vif13.0.
