I've setup udev rules to block all usb devices and then additional rules to allow specific vendors / products to be used (mainly keyboards and mice). This is all working perfectly.

Hi, I have updated 8 machines so far and 2 are refusing to boot on 2.6.18-194.3.1.el5 kernel, they just hang at: 'Starting udev:' but when I revert to 2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 kernel they boot fine. Any pointers? Cheers, Colin.

Hi, In CentOS7 I have added two zones using firewall-cmd, each for different ports/services and interfaces when I try to --add-source to the second zone with an IP that is already in the first I am getting an 'Error: ZONE_CONFLICT' message. How can I create a file for my postgresql service that will not be overwritten when updates are applied? I have Apache/2.4.6 installed in a minimal CentOS 7 VM. I am trying to access the default page when Apache is installed by accessing the CentOS IP as http://192.168.3.130 (is a host only interface) but I got "This webpage is not available: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" and I can't find why. I noticed that the userlist is being pulled from my NIS server (when the connection is down the list does not appear). but I cannot work out why the home directories are automatically mounting at boot.
