On a small home network, I am trying to move from simple share based security = to user to openldap. It has a built in stats program but the problem is that If my icecast server has over 2 mount points the stats stop working and the only way to fix it is to restart the icecast server. I'm streaming a police scanner online. What would be the best encoding to use the ogg or mp3 or mp3 pro Right now i'm using MP3 16KBPS 11KHZ and it uses about 3.1KB/sec of bandwidth.
