The latest batch of computers that are being purchased by our organisation appear to be UEFI-only. Our WDS installation can network boot such devices, but goes straight into WDS rather than letting us have our SYSLINUX menu. Is there a way to set up SYSLINUX for use with WDS in EFI mode? I'm about to start working with WiFi phones on my Asterisk installations. Can anyone tell me if they are using WiFi phones on wireless network that is extended with WDS and how well the phone handles jumping from access point to access point while on a call? I am doing some testing of openwrt'd wireless access points, using madwifi-ng'd atheros radios. In the test configuration, I have three devices in a triangle, each has wds links to the other two devices. The ath0 interface is in ap mode, ath1 is a wds link to one device, and ath2 is a wds link to the other device. All three interfaces (and an ethernet interface) are in a bridge (br-lan) with STP on.
