I have three DCs, dc1, dc2 and dc3
I ran some wbinfo's on all my DCs to check if the UIDs lined up with the
same SIDs on each DC, and the results were confusing.

Resolving inconsistant on DC with AD backend. GID 100 and 10000
Small update.
And changed the subject, was : [Samba] Domain member server: user access .
My last test was done with 4.6.7.
Now upgraded a DC to 4.6.8 ( and last result in 4.6.7 was 10000 )

Hai,
That bond0 interface, you might want to change that the interface name to bond1
Depending on the bonding settings, you might have hit a reserved name.
I lots my docu on that but i know i configured a bond1 because bond0 didn work right.
And then check these.
wbinfo -pPt ( or wbinfo -p && wbinfo -P && wbinfo -t )

Ok, i did read somewhere that
Samba uses S-1-22-1 for users and S1-22-2 for groups.
wbinfo -G 100
S-1-5-21-3821322978-3959480180-962995944-513
wbinfo -G 10000
S-1-22-2-10000
S1-22-2-10000 Is the unix group with uid 10000
( with is also in my case "Domain Users" )
But how this maps again in samba, that i really dont know.
Arg, very confusion all..
Well, at least we now kno...

wbinfo -u and -g gives no output
The strange thing is that I cloned this server from another server, and the original server does not have the "wbinfo -u" problem. Both servers have the exact same configurations..
Thanks.

wbinfo error
We have setup Samba3 and joined the server to the AD domain. problem is when
I run wbinfo -u I get the error msg "Error looking up users". If I use the
syntax "wbinfo -a domain+user%password -g, it rec msgs back that the passwd
succeeded but still does not let me list groups.

Security Principals, and SID's mapping bug
...s://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd851678(v=ws.11).aspx
And see here, Security options :
Computer Configuration , by default the task is run in the security context of the SYSTEM account.
And in case of a samba AD DC, this wil never work since systems isnt correctly mapped.
On both DCs:
wbinfo -G 3000002
wbinfo -s S-1-5-18
failed to call wbcLookupSid: WBC_ERR_DOMAIN_NOT_FOUND
Could not lookup sid S-1-5-18
Im open for any suggestion EXCEPT changing the user in the schedules task.
This is my complete smb.conf of my samba 4.5.3 ( on debian Jessie )
Maybe i missed something here.
