AMI and extensions.conf
Hello
I'm looking for a wayy to modify extensions.conf
It seems that PutConfig AMI command is not supposed to work on extensionsq.conf
Any ideas?
Thanks

library help files
Dear all,
I am writing my small working library. I have done most of the work and it
seems working well in R. The library name appears in the package list when
I type help.start().
Now my problem is about the help files. I have done help file in Rd format
and translated it to HTML format (I have a subdirectory (named html) with
html file in it and a subdirectory (named help) with .Rd files in

...f
the problem? :)
I don't really see how this is possible though. The clients are able to
'get behind' but at a certain point if they are really disconnected,
they can't receive any data (even if they never tell us they are
disconnected, say if the power cord got ripped out of the wayy), so when
a client got behind past the threshhold (this was 10-15 'blocks' iirc)
then icecast automatically removed them, since they weren't fast enough
to keep up.
This sounds like a failure in the fallback logic somewhere. Do you have
fallback turned on?

I don't think there is a failure problem, I think the user is just
wanting some time-limited client co...

[Fwd: problems with ppp]
Hi,
I installed CentOS 3.3 and kept the machine up2date.
I installed poptop and the newest ppp-cvs version (
ppp-2.4.3-0.cvs_20040527.6)
We are running a ssh + ppp tunnel for our internet tunnel/tunnel to our NOC.
After the upgrade we see these error messages while starting the tunnel:
Jan 24 15:00:40 natgw modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module

your programs.
Also this takes up 650MB per image (naturally) but
with hard drives costing about $1/GB this is hardly a
problem. And you can store wayy more images in a
server with a 100GB drive than with a bunch o' CD
drives.
Lastly, the loop module takes an argument to allow
more than 8 loopback devices. modinfo loop or Google
for details. You'll also need corresponding devices
added for your extra loopback devices in /dev

Disks for virtualization
I'm not looking to move virtual machines between physical platforms; just
want some protection between applications sharing a physical server.
They'll all be using local disk in one form or another.
Much the easiest to manage is just having the virtual machine use a file
in dom0 as its disk. Without pre-allocating, this lets me over-commit
somewhat to cover unknown future needs, for

ext4, 4k sector alignment
I've mentioned this problem before but put off doing anything about it
and maybe now someone can suggest the best solution.
I have a 3-member RAID1 set where one of the members is periodically
swapped and rotated offsite. The filesystem contains a backuppc archive
which has millions of hardlinks that make it impractical to copy with a
file-oriented approach. The current filesystem is

Mongrel/Apache and static content
I''m looking for an easy way to have mongrel only serve dynamic railscontent, while letting Apache serve non-Rails content. Unfortunately,it seems that you have to segregate the static content in its ownfolder. That was also the case with the SCGI runner. I used thetrick outlined athttp://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.ruby.rails/23347 to managethis. I was curious if a similar

Unable to REGISTER to the Asterisk v1.8.3.3 server via SIP/TLS
Hello all,
I have installed the .deb packages of the Asterisk v1.8.3.3 from the
upstream project on my Debian GNU/Linux Squeeze server and bought the
Comodo's PossitiveSSL SSL certificate to be used for my SIP/TLS
exercise. After setting up everything and trying to fix this problem,
I am still getting a 401 Unauthorized SIP message. So as of this
writing, I still cannot successfully REGISTER
