How about add webassembly/wasi support in llvm-libc.
Cause llvm-libc are in early stage, and we can easily catch up the support
with linux.
After we add wasi support in llvm-lic, we can easily get a usable llvm-libc
across different platform such as linux/windows/macos/android. don't know
if iOS is a target, but these target are very much enough

[libc-dev] How about add webassembly/wasi support in llvm-libc.
Somehow I wish not all parts of a libc but parts that can be provided
without a JavaScript wrapper for .wasm can be provided from llvm's libc
(leaving a stab implementation for the rest like file system). I've put
together a minimal libc on [1] so using a 26kb .wasm binary file one can
decode both PNG and JPG using this [2] simple to integrate JavaScript code,
can be easily ported in other

Where to send emails with questions about WebAssembly?
Okay, so where should I send questions for WebAssembly? Is it this mailing list or a different one? I want to ask about how to compile WebAssembly modules with Clang directly, without Emscripten, for situations like what I have currently where I have a problem with generating WebAssembly and/or JavaScript glue code (I have a problem with the gen_struct_info stuff; I asked on the Emscripten

remote windows management
I keep hoping for better wasy to remotely manage windows machines
through samba.
In the very old samba-tng there was an rpcclient that could connect to
a remote machine and do various things like read/write the registry,
grab event logs, etc. I could never get it to work very well and
waited for a better one.
The trouble is...

Help reading table rows into lists

Error in file(file, "r") : cannot open the connection
In addition: Warning message:

variables is using unix to cut the first column out and then read that

Cannot delete folder
...ions?
On a lark, I looked through my dirs @ permissions. Shorted lines a bit
so they'd fit w/o extra lines between them using:
(get rid of text before permissions, and shorten user/group to a few letter)
find . -type d -ls|sed -r 's/^\s*\S+\s+\S+\s+// ; s/linda(group)?/usr/g'
Made it wasy to look down the 1st column and find where things were
different.
FWIW, using mbox format.
My base permissions were : drwxrwxr-x
most were: : drwxrwsr-x
I noticed that subdirs I
created *by hand* (to later
move folders into), often
had different permissions : drwxrwsr--...

Cannot delete folder
Hi there,
I cannot delete IMAP folders in new mailboxes. When trying to delete a
folder in Thunderbird I get the error message "renaming not supported
across conflicting directory permissions". Looking up the error on the
web led me to checking the mailbox directory's permissions. They're
inconsistent in new mailboxes. While every single directory in an old
mailbox has

Win98 troubles
Hi,
I have a client with 2 Win98 out of 15 computers that refuse to see the server when
they first turn them on in the morning. When they logon as a new user, not a
reboot, it connects and they work fine for the rest of the day. They can even
reboot whenever they want throughout the day and it works, but when they turn it off
over night, the computers refuse to see the domain the next morning.

LVM repairing or back to regular ext3?
Can anyone point me in the right direction for correcting errors on an HD
when using LVM? I've tried e2fsck and indicates bad block. I've tried
with -b 8193, 16384, and 32768 and no good.
I've found some info about reiserfsck on google, but this utility doesn't
seem to be included in Centos4.3. I did find it on my old FC1 box.
I am thinking now I really should have went with

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:

I tried to access windows shares by using
LinNeighborhood. I can see all host in windows

folder in a host, there came a message "Can't resolve
address". This happen for all host. I already set
the right WINS server and Primary master browser in
the preferences, use samba port 139. Why this happen?
