ssh(1) multiplexing rewrite
Hi,
At the n2k10 OpenBSD network hackathon, I finally got some time to clean
up and rewrite the ssh(1) client multiplexing code. The attached diffs
(one for portable OpenSSH, one for OpenBSD) are the result, and they
need some testing.
The revised multiplexing code uses a better protocol between the master
and slave processes and I even bothered to write it up :) It tracks the

Call for testing: OpenSSH 8.0
Thanks for testing - are you able to see if there's anything in
the server logs?
I've just committed some extra verbosity in the client's log messages that
might clarify where it is exiting (patch attached).

[PATCH 1/12] bug fix: openssh-4.3p2 memory leak
The variable cmd is xmalloc'd by buffer_get_string. It is then used in
some places but never freed. This patch places the xfree after the last
usage and within the confines of all paths. This entire set of patches
passed the regression tests on my system. Memory leak bug found by
Coverity.

[PATCH] openssh pseudo-terminal bug
hello
short description:
ssh client sends a wrong all-zero terminal info when requesting forced pseudo-terminal
allocation while stdin is not a terminal.
sshd then sets the terminals ospeed to 0 because it receives this information from the
client. on solaris this means that the pseudo-terminal is closed and output of any
remote command is dropped.
