4+ Port FXS Analog Device
...could get a bunch of Linksys or Sipura boxes but was
wondering if there is a more cost effective way? I came across the
Mediatrix 1104 and even the Mediatrix 1124 but that comes out to be
almost $100/port. I might as well buy inexpensive IP phone. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

samba to work fine as a server when connecting from redhat using

name, it says \Waldo\guest. Waldo is the name of my server. As a
result, I can't log on. How to fix? Here is my smb.conf:

Recommended Network Latency
I'm planning on setting up some remote agents and before doing so, I
did some simple PING tests to measure latency. The average latency I
got was 250ms. Does anyone have experience in terms of quality of
calls when there is such high latency? Can anyone comment?

STUN vs NAT Helper
...ind NATs, mainly basic NATs such as linksys
routers behind DSL modems.
I read on the wiki that STUN is not readily supported by most
clients, so I don't know if its worth the effort or if we should just
concentrate on getting SER working with Asterisk.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Asterisk Versions
...latest stable version, how/where can I find out
the different CVS revisions available and a description of what has
been patched/updated in each CVS revision so I can decide whether to
leave my 1.0.7 installation as is, or if I need (or think I need) to
patch it with a CVS version?

Re: [Serusers] SER IP PBX for multiple clients
Waldo,
How do you let your customers manage 'their' PBX. I too have a setup
like you. However, I installed a * server for each customer, via
vserver. I'd like to now what kind of software/webbased package you use
for this.
I also have SER installed as a front-end server for the * servers. B...

Alexander,
These are the only two CVEs from 2016 that I found contained in the RPM

Asterisk Queues and Strategies
...e caller-ID of
the new call, but that of the old call (may be a bug). Regardless, my
client does not want the ringall strategy.
Is the above mentioned behavior normal? Should I be evaluating
different queueing technologies? Maybe ICD or some other ACD tool
that can do what I need?

Multitenant Call Center Setup
...(which I guess is how everyone else is doing it).
The problem I have is that I've only been able to configure one
global agents.conf file. This restricts my setup in a way that I
cannot have two agents 1001, for example if my clients wanted to. Is
there a way to overcome this?

MeetMe Problems
...nsfer the calls from server B to server A's meetme room and
everything works just fine.
I would like for the meetme rooms to work in server B and not having
to depend on server A for it.
Can anyone shed some light into why this is happening and, more
importantly, how to fix it?
Thanks,

a more robust/customizable call logging facility.
I took the liberty of cross-posting to the Asterisk list in order to
get some of their feedback as well.

Agent Queues and Sending URLs

that the XLite doesn't support it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have heard of others that have been able to do this with XLite,

Problem with IAXy
...l comes in (from PSTN) and is routed to the
device, it works perfectly as well.
The problem is that when I place an outbound call (to PSTN), the
remote party can hear me well, but I cannot hear the remote party
from the S100I device.
Does anyone have any idea as to what this means?
Thanks,
