[RFC] IR-level Region Annotations
...er words, does it prevent other operations from being reordered with it?If the answer is no, then does it mean the intrinsic has to be marked with the convergent property to achieve the code motion barrier effect? If yes, can someone explain how is that achieved in llvm?
Greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why last doesn't return an ActiveRecord::Relation
Hello,
Sorry if this has been still answered, I haven''t found nothing on it. I
would love to know why ActiveRecord::Base#last doesn''t return an
ActiveRecord::Relation just like all or where since an
ActiveRecord::Relation can act more or less like an array (as specified here<https://github.com/rails/rails/commit/0a6833b6f701c8c8febadfe2f45e25df29493602>
)?
Thanks, have

Thanks.

Slow graphics with ATI FirePro 2260
Hello-
I installed CentOS 5.5 on a DELL Machine with ATI Firepro 2260 graphics
card. I'm using GNOME for the graphical environment but the display is
refreshing very slowly, e.g. scrolling a webpage or moving a window around.
Any idea how to solve this issue.
Regards,
Wael

Rony 1.9.3-p0 on Rails 2.3.x: the helpers "require" problem
Yes, I know that Rails *2.3.x* is no longer fully supported (this is why
I''m posting it to rails/issues). Still, I would like to post the topic so
that everyone who experience the same problem could quickly google for it
(no, afaik no solution for this yet).
I''m trying to migrate a 1.5 years *2.3.x* app from Ruby version *1.8.7* to *
1.9.3-p0*.
The strange problem I

Lack of foreign-key constraints support in ActiveRecord
Is there any reason why AR has never supported foreign-key constraints?
I can understand the lack of support for triggers and stored procedures
since they are highly dependent on the database to create a wrap API
around them. But this is not the case for foreign keys.
This is specially important for open-source projects like
Redmine/Chiliproject and Gitorious where you shouldn''t be

Overload assets/views of a mountable engine?
...ch would be mounted in
whatever application to get a blog but the engine should look exactly like
the website so I would like to overload some asset files as well as some of
the views (like the _header and _footer partials rendered in the layout)
Is that possible with mountable engines ?

How to use an ActiveRecord plugin in a non-Rails project
I''m using ActiveRecord on a Sinatra app. I need one of my tables to be
sorted, so I''m using acts_as_list (https://github.com/swanandp/acts_as_list).
However, it isn''t a gem, so I don''t know how to get it to work with
Bundler.
Currently, I just cloned the source into a dir named "vendor". This works,
but when I search my code, it keeps including

Add data in between Simple Form association members
Hey there,
I am trying to use Simple Form''s association to list a bunch of radio
buttons like so:
<%= simple_form_for(@applicant) do |f| %>
<%= f.association :track, :as => :radio_buttons %>
<% end %>
Assuming each track has many courses, how can I take every track from that
association and loop over its courses to display them below the radio
