I've been working hard to get my Wacom tablet to work as my primary pointing device. I've installed the drivers and followed the instructions at the Linux Wacom project at Sourceforge. And I've been largely successful. The drivers are working, the configuration utilities are working. I'm just one step away from success....

...t it seems to me that a signature pad is merely a small-format drawing tablet and that's a very old technology.??(There was a drawing tablet available for the Commodore 64.) The activation it self is pretty much straight forward, but at first i got a problem with internet activation. And then i restart the toonboom, and somehow it WORKS ! ...happening. I thought it may have to do with VMware, as this is installed on 80% of these machines, and most of the time it happened when users were using Vmware. But recently I have seen the problem on machines without VMware running or even installed. I have also noticed a similar issue with a Wacom tablet. The user will be using it for some amount of time and then it stops working. At first it is assigned /dev/input/event3, the kernel module (wacom.o) is loaded and everything is fine. It will then stop working after a while, behind the scenes the system thinks the tablet has been unplugged...

I have been able to get a HUION H610PRO wacom to easily work with Centos 7.6, but the use of this for a production application for signatures will not really work easily for a user. Any ideas?
