CISCO 2600 - VWIC 1MFT-E1
Hi to all, I got a Cisco 2651XM wired to an E1 PRI. What I want to do is to pass all incoming calls to my asterisk. This is my actual conf: http://pastebin.ca/270677 with this I'm able to call my number from outside, but the call stop on the 2600, infact I can hear the tone, but I'm not able to forward calls to my asterisk. Anyone got an idea of my errors? Thanks to all. -- .:FaberK:.

Can't get G729 working after buying a license.
List, I purchased 2 g729 licenses but I can't get it to answer a g729 call from a cisco router with a vwic card. In the debug output below you will see that asterisk thinks it only supports: (gsm|ulaw|alaw|h263) when it should support g729 according to the config also listed below. The real odd thing is I can place g729 calls to the router, just not from the router to *. Anyone have any ideas on how...

I'm perfectly happy to do my homework, but also don't feel thee need to reinvent the wheel! So, links with relevant info would be appreciated....

Minimum budget question ...
I've tried to figure out from the web site the minimum hardware cost to run a small office Asterix solution but I'm afraid I miss something: Let's say that I want to connect four/five analogic extension to the PBX. I have: - 1 computer as the server (with linux and Asterisk on it) - 1 dummy patch panel to connect all the analogic phones around the office What (and how many) cards

RAID/SCSI/IDE/SATA and a TE405P (or T100P) c ard. Should I expect problems?
Hello, We use all SCSI PCI card hardware RAIDs on all 4 of our production Asterisk servers. They all have Digium quad T1 cards and they all have from 2 to 4 T1s hooked up to them. We have had no noticable problems with dropped calls/poor quality. What are you looking to do with this system? what kind of traffic will be going through these 4 T1s? Hangups after voicemail
Hi, Try as I might, I can't get hangups detected on a Zap channel with loop start lines. So, after someone leaves a voicemail and then hangs up, Asterisk doesn't know it, exits VoicemailMain2, and loops back to the corporate greeting, tying up the line even though the outside caller has hung up. Therefore, I've added the following hideous hack - er, code - to voicemail2.c. It
