2FA for Dovecot
I block all my email ports except 25 from countries where I am not going to be sending or receiving email. I also block many datacenters, but blocking Digital Ocean, Vultur and AWS will get you 90%of the way there. You will need to use 587, that is no auth on 25. Again no blocking on 25, just block the other email ports.
I get maybe one attempt to log into my email account a week. Yeah not as

Hi Phil,
answer to your questions:
> Which specific Slackware? Too embarrassed to say?
Really, really don't know exactly. :)
Installed approx. 5 yeras ago (maybe 4.5, 4.6, maybe 5.0 ... who knows now ... )
> Which OpenSSL? 0.9.6a? 0.9.6b? 0.9.6c? 0.9.6d?
Only info I found is 0.9.6. Let's suppose it's 0.9.6. ;)

2FA for Dovecot
Hi,
My goal is to protect my mail account with 2FA, which isn't a crazy
idea in 2020. Therefore, I would like to know the possibilities of
configuring 2FA for Dovecot. In the documentation there are some hints
of e.g. OTP in Dovecot [1] and using FreeIPA with Dovecot [2], where
FreeIPA has the ability to enable OTP per user [3].
But I can't really find much practical information about

Agents and Queues
I've just installed asterisk as a new phone system for our office but am
having difficulty with the queues. Specifically I need a way to
redirect our sales queue to voicemail when no one is logged in to the
queue. I see I can use the joinonempty=no setting, however this setting
doesn't work if you use the agent functionality (at least not with
AgentCallbackLogin). I could, of

Forgot to include three more data files:

Thank you again.

I've been trying for some time to install my copy of Word97 (which I
own, having purchased it directly from Microsoft with my own license
number). I have tried the latest Wine 0.9.14. To do

3 Q's about queues and agents
I'm a newbie, but learning as fast as I can, I have 3 questions so please be
patient.
1. I'm not sure as to the correct behavior of using a Agent/@1 in the
queues.conf to specify that a group of agents (in this case group 1) should be
members of the queue. Currently my queues will only ring the members of the
agent group in the order defined in the agents.conf assuming that more than one

Automatically setting mailbox on registration of SIP device by SIP device's line #
Hello,
Is there any way to have a SIP device get it's mailbox automatically set
upon registration when it does not have an entry in sip.conf? I would
prefer to not define all my 200+ devices in my sip.conf's. All my CID is
set via an AGI from database or ldap. All I need it to do is set
mailbox=sip_line_#. If there is a patch in progress for this, I'd love
to test it out.
Thanks

TDM2400P FXS Only vs. T1/E1 to FXS Channel Banks
Hello All,
I'm looking to get some feedback on which solution of providing FXS is
going to have the best results with faxing. I'm only looking to see what
method is going to provide the best digitization into Asterisk, not for
transmission from Asterisk to else where. Any recommendations of
specific channel banks are welcome. I will need to provide approximatly

Comment editor?
Hi everyone,
Is there an Ogg Vorbis comment editor out there, to edit the comment
fields in an already-written Ogg Vorbis stream/file?
Regards,
Alex.

dhclient doing DISCOVER with bad IP checksum - bge
Sorry for the cross-post, but this could be either lists problem.
I have 2 boxes running 7-STABLE as of 20081130, both i386 SMP. One is
running ISC DHCPD 3.0.x from recent ports, and the other dhclient from
make world.
The server is refusing to answer the DISCOVER request, as it thinks the
IP checksum is wrong, which tcpdump also confirms. Other DHCP clients
are working fine on this network,
