Jitsi Meet on CentOS 7 ?
...t while testing it so this WORKS and I am currently using it for fun with the kids. I do have the server currently running but blocked by my firewall. I am willing to allow a few of the people such a Kovacs and others to connect to my Jitsi server to test usability. But this is a 1CPU/2GBRAM VM in vultr.com so we cannot expect premium video quality and maybe no more than 10 people at the same time. Do note that in order to provide access, I need an IP and will open the server to connect from that IP. My Wordpress template is not the best so sorry for the formatting. I Will work on that tomorrow....

a few simple questions about upgrading an "official" centos 7 release
...g in new updates as cavalierly as i do with fedora. currently, "yum list updates" shows me 206 possible updates; should i have any concern about updating packages coming from the standard centos repos? next, are there any issues replacing yum wihth dnf? i found this piece: https://www.vultr.com/docs/use-dnf-to-manage-software-packages-on-centos-7 which suggests it shouldn't be a problem. thoughts? finally, any concerns i should have about upgrading the kernel from 3.10 to 4.14 or 4.15, as explained in a number of places like this: https://www.tecmint.com/install-upgrade-kerne...

...ours, is I don't need to. Also, I am currently using a DHCP Server to give static IPs based on mac address, I guess I don't need to set the ip manually if I use something like "method 3" described in [1] to prevent /etc/resolv.conf updates, what do you think? I know it is not dovecot who should fix this. But anyone using dovecot is using an MTA, and receiving spam ;) I know how to look at email headers. [OT?] Kerberos, PAM, NSS: if user does not exist, pam_krb5 try login?
A bit more then a curiosity. Mobing from Samba/NT to Samba/AD i'm now switching some 'one-purpose' (mostly containers) from libpam-ldaps to libpam-krb5. In these box normally i don't need user access, so i create 'manually' (eg, in /etc/passwd) only the admin users, and i add only the PAM layer to do external auth. Still i use ssh keys for direct root access, but as an
