I use to Sun Forte C 6.0 compiler.

[LLVMdev] IR type safety
...an error
message, assert or whatever) to join two IRs with different data
layouts? Or it was never thought that you could mix them?
In my view, that is the precise reason why we have the data layout.
Unions can't rely on them (why we don't have unions any more) and
compiler data (RTTI, VT, VTT, etc) are all statically created with the
correct size.

windows data editor changes dimensions displayed data frames
dear R-tists,
i am experiencing a problem with the data editor in the windows version of
R 1.6.1 envoked with the command 'fix'.
the data editor changes the size of large data frames.
a simple example illustrates this:

> dfrm <- data.frame(no=c(1:100000))
> length(dfrm[,1])
[1] 100000

[LLVMdev] More DIFactory questions
Here are some issues that I am unclear about. What would be great is if the
answers could be incorporated into the comments and documentation for
DIFactory and DebugInfo.h:
1) What types of DIScope are valid arguments for DebugLoc::get()? The method
takes an MDNode* argument, so looking at the function signature is no help.
For example, DIFile is a subtype of DIScope, however looking
