get older version 3.0.37
...this client uses Active Directory for authentication and many
employees are in more than 128 Active Directory groups. The newer samba
versions are checking on this limit and as a result these employees
cannot access the shares.
Is there somebody who can help me with this?

FW: Almost ...
...0.0.0. You don't need to
specify gateways in your routing table, tinc will handle that. Add
"VpnMask=255.0.0.0" to the tinc.conf files on both tinc gateways. The IP
address of the tap device is allowed to have the same IP as the real
ethernet interface of the gateways by the way.

traffic not going through tunnel
Dear all,
we have a very strange problem,
- we have 3 VPN endpoints
- all are in one NETWORK
- all daemons come up and connect without any problem and normally we have no problem working through the VPN
but in some cases the connection does not work because the traffic leaves the TAP interface on one VPN endpoint but never arrives on the other end, the similarities between the packages seem to

version as printserver.
* We tried the patch on the file rpc_parse/parse_spoolss.c
* We tried the current CVS version
* We installed the whole samba from scratch (new tdb-files)
All no difference.
With a lot of debugging on we can't see what is the problem.
Any ideas?

Can you show me your tinc.conf and tinc-up script? Also, which version
of FreeBSD are you using?

It's indeed broken. As a workaround, can you try to change Device to
/dev/tap10? You might have to run "kldload if_tap.ko" before starting
tinc.

ldap filter
I've read that the sm.conf configuration option "ldap filter" is removed after
3.0.14. Why is that? For one of the networks we maintain it is a very crucial
option. I could not found an explanation or work around.
