audio streaming points different with VRRP
...terisk? I want this: I call to asterisk1, then I pull the ethernet wire down, vrrp makes up the other asterisk but not the audio streaming...the callers are always pointed to asterisk1, but for the right run, the callers must point to the asterisk2.... Is there some *.config file where I can put my vrid IP, so in automatic the asterisk1 and asterisk2 translate their IP to the vrid? The vrrp is right like I set it.Asterik1 is the master with 192.160.252.1 IP and vrid like 192.160.252.10 asterisk2 is the slave with 192.160.252.2.Via Ethreal they are ok,if .1 goes down, .2 goes up, but the audio stre...

I'm in the middle of looking at changing our DNS service and was thinking of containerising them for the improved deployment flexibility it offers. [OT]multi-master DNS
Hello all, We have quite a bit of environment on "cloud". We are using our own domain names. For this purpouse we stood up a BIND9 DNS instance on Centos 7. And, this being the cloud, we enabled key based dynamic DNS for instances to register themselves when they are spun-up. We have a single master and multiple slaves. all is well, untill mater goes down and we need to spin-up

faxdetect questions - Please HELP!
I'm using IAXmodem and Hylafax with 'faxdetect=incoming' and things mostly work pretty well. My main lines come in via T1 DID. Today, HR got tired of having someone read and forward their faxes to them and requested we bring their physical machine back on line. I have been able to get the fax forwarded to the appropriate zap channel, but I cannot seem to get it to stop
