Thanks for the responses. I think this is what I want to do. I commented out #Defaults requiretty in /etc/sudo. But what I really wanted to do was just place it in VPNUSERS: %vpnusers ALL=NOPASSWD: /sbin/service myciscovpn start, \ /sbin/service myciscovpn stop, \ /sbin/service myciscovpn status, \ /usr/bin/mycisco, /usr/local/bin/vpnclient visudo took it but it did not work. I've been trying to setup OPENVPN on a Netgate appliance running pfsense. Initially, the authentication server I created appears to function. A connection is made, the "bind" is completed and the organizational units are fetched from the server and returned. A few minutes later - without making any changes - the same test returns the following errors: php-fpm 67757

Hi guys, I have samba domain controller running at a client. It's a fairly simple and straightforward setup, uses smbpasswd for auth, nothing fancy. The client wants to be able to vpn in and access their files. I setup pptp, and use the built in WindowsXP client. After establishing the vpn connection, I can access the domain controller.
