CentOS 5.9 Xen DomU NFS Data Transfer to Dom0 kills network.
Greetings, I have problem using Dom0 as NFS(v4)-server and DomU as client. When ever the client actually tries to copy data to nfs-server the virtual network (bridge) between the two hosts completely freezes and stops working. After this of course the client hangs waiting nfs-server to answer and server continues to try to contact nfslock daemon on the client. Dom0 is still accessible from

Answer App hanging in I4L
...dem.conf I could make outward calls correctly from gnophone and kphone. Still the inward call to the configured MSN is correctly reaching Asterisk and also to the configured Context. But the issue is, it was hanging on 'Answer' application and throwing out 'Unable to Spawn Extension (vpk, s, 1) ..... ". When I debug, found that Asterisk is issuing the following AT commands while answering the call. ATA (expecting VCON ) AT+VRX+VTX (expecting CONNECT ) In the above sequence, I found that after giving ATA, without waiting for VCON it is giving the AT+VRX+VTX command and getti...

I would say that indicates a solution.

CentOS 7, not systemd questions
Question 1: has anyone used preupgrade (I used it with fc 17 -> 19, and it pretty much appeared to work, but that was on a couple of worksttions)? Opinions? Question 2: is grub still supported, or is there something that *FORCES* you to use grub2? mark "grub2 must DIE!"

sip phone problem
Hi all. I have 2 ip phones (Grandstream Budgetone): -budgetone1 -budgetone2 All two are connected to an Asterisk server. When I make a call from budgetone1 to budgetone2, I can speak with budgetone2 whith no problem. But when budgetone2 hangs up, budgetone1 does not play any tone (like busy tone). Budgetone1 seems to be still in conversation, but what conversation! Has anyone had a problem

How to Backup and Restore MBR within Logical Volumes?
Hi All, I have several Xen virtual machines within logical volumes using LVM2. I did not use disk images for performance reasons. Conventionally, if I want to clone my virtual machines, I have to dd the LV to an image file. But this consumes a lot of time and harddisk space. So, instead of doing that, I want to use losetup and kpartx with my logical volumes, which contain operating systems of

Printing Issues with NT type Clients.
Hi. To begin with, I have a freshly built RedHat Linux 8.0 box running samba 2.2.8a. The kernel version is 2.4.18-14. I downloaded and compiled samba from source. I am using LPRng-3.8.9-6 as my printing system. The attached printer is a Lexmark Z22 printer and it is attached to the parralel port. Problem: For the life of me, I can't get NT type clients, NT4, 2K and XP to print to samba.

Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking

Hi, I have 6 DomU's with 4-virtual interfaces and 1 DomU with only one. Problem with CentOS 5.3 Xen and Windows Server 2008 HVM DomU
Hi, I have CentOS 5.3 64bit and couple of Windows Server 2008 32Bit DomU's on it. Problem is that I got hit with the "A clock interrupt was not recevied on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval" Blue Screen when trying to run with more than one CPU When searching around I found that official XEN distribution (development version) has some fixes for it, but
