Friends I'm in doubt here: which virtualization platform to choose and why? If I have just installed a VM I choose Xen or KVM? And when I have more than 5 or 10 VM's? Please, I need your help to choose right. Thanks -- Gilberto Nunes

Multiple RAID support in CentOS?
...for some VMs, and the other 4 1TB HDDs I want to create an array in RAID5 or RAID10 for file sharing across my home Network. I found a guide but it's a little bit outdated and it's for Debian... Do you have any other pointer I can read/use? TIA. -- Linux User #452368 http://twitter.com/vpadro "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves"

Linux router with CentOS
Hello everybody. I'm wondering here if is it possible to setup a CentOS machine as a router for two Internet connections in a LAN. This _router_ would work as the gateway for the workstations using DHCPD. The purpose of this is to optimize the broadband "joining" both connections, and given the case, do not lose the Internet access. ?is this possible? ?too much complicated?

Bonding and Xen
Does anyone has implemented this sucessfully? I am asking this because we are implementing Xen on our test lab machines, which they hold up to three 3com and intel Nics 10/100mbps based. These servers are meant to replace MS messaging and intranet webservers which holds up to 5000 hits per day and thousands of mails, and probably the Dom0 could not handle this kind of setup with only one 100mbps

Hi All. I plan to use virtualization in my production environment. I plan to use one of the following options: - KVM; - VMWare Esxi; - VMWare Workstation. I plan to install Windows 2008 as a guest. I want to use something like LVM snapshots for backups. Stability is also very important, the guest will be used as a production server. Which option could You recommend and why? Thank You very much
