IDLE dropping EXISTS events on mass message arrival
Hi, I'm not sure if this is some throttling/DoS protection or a bug. I
didn't see notice anything like it mentioned looking at the NEWS file
from hg, this is on 2.1.7 on Debian stable.
I have a client doing IDLE on INBOX.vomiteer. When individual messages
arrive with some time interval in between them, I get EXISTS events for
each message as expected.
However, when I store a bunch of messages at once (via tag + mass copy
in mutt on a fast-ish connection), I get a few EXISTS events (sometimes
one, sometimes two) even th...

...ch basic types do not already exist. is there no extra
repository of custom types besides the ones that are included with puppet?
seems like all these types of simple text-file operations should be pretty
common and pretty core to the system, does everyone just shell out and
suppress that urge to vomit when they need to do this type of thing? is it
something just waiting someone with time to do it the right way in ruby?

SUCCESS - 512 Simultaneous Calls with Digital Recording
List users,
Over the last few days we have been working with MCI's development lab
to test our Asterisk setup. We were using a piece of hardware called an
Abacus 5000 that is capable of creating and terminating thousands of SIP
calls. Initially, we could not get past 64 simultaneous digitally
recorded calls without having call quality issues including dropped
calls. We identified an

latex code in R -> convert to pdf
hi,
is it possible to convert latex code to pdf in R (like a latex-program
would do it)?
Is there a package that comes with this capabilities?
My problem is that I want to generate tables automatically -
and I can't use a latex editor at that computer ...
Besides latex ... are there good ways to generate tables in R?
thanks for any suggestions!

New Asterisk user with a goal
Hi All, I am rather new to the asterisk world, and new to VoIP in
general, my question seems rather simple compared to some of the
topics under discussion here :)
I have done quite a bit of reading and fiddling trying to get a system
set up, to no avail yet
basically myself and a friend (both behind NAT and Firewalls, but able
to set up the firewall rules/port mappings ourself) are interesting in

Hi James,
I have also been working on such a pass for the last couple of month.
The pass itself is finished and ether has written some further LLVM
support implementing a RegionPass class, that can be used to implement
region passes that work like the existing LoopPasses today, but use a
region instead of a loop or function as

All I can remember is that some of them are coming from DirectSound buffer under/overruns, and one of them caused Wine to vomit a massive backtrace and fixme trail, the only bit of which I can remember is uxtheme for some reason (and I'm almost certain this has nothing to do with it). I might be able to get some more helpful information on this later.
Thanks in advance,

Slow Samba Printer initialisation, status, and printing
OK, I have been wrestling with this for two weeks now, so somebody please
help !
We have an existing Samba Print Server, running RedHat linux, kernel
2.2.19, that runs fine, but is a P133 with 64 mb ram. So we built a new PC,
the slowest thing we could buy, a duron 1 ghz with 512 mb RAM. Old printer
server is running Samba 2.2.5, new printer server is running samba 2.2.5,
and Slackware 8.1,
