Kudos to the R support team
Hi there,
I just wanted to take a quick second to thank everyone who maintains this
service- just in case you don't hear it enough, there are a plethora of people
who rely on this service (as evidenced by the help archives), and even if they
don't say it, are greatly thankful for what you do here. Not only are you
providing a service to people who are learning R, but indeed helping

I usually agree, but in this case I've seen that warning and voluntarily
ignored it because it worked for 2 days...
I thought I was lucky ;-)

Historical question
Hello Jean-Marc and all,
I recently had a talk with somebody about CELP. He said, there is this
federal standard 1016 (4.8kbps) with a reference implementation of the
Department of Defense (only on Sun, unfortunately, if I got this right).
This one is noticed in the manual already.
He also said, since there is this implementation of the DoD, nobody
would voluntarily re-implement CELP.
If I read

Of course. I'll wait until all our bots return from the first round to
know the size of the damage.
I just wanted to warn all other buildbot owners

Upgrade Centos 6 (32 Bits) to Centos 7 (32 Bits)
Hi all ,
I have a very old PC ( Acer2000) 32 Bits. On this machine I am running (Do
not laugh) SCO Unix in an antique version : So Centos6 probes with the
bootloader on this OS and other OS s.
Is there a way to opgrade Centos 6 to Centos 7 in the 32 Bits architecture
?
Any help would be usefull.
Regards.

problems with understanding of the memory parameters in the xml file
Hi guys,
despite reading hours and hours in the internet i'm still struggling with
"memory", "currentmemory" and "maxMemory".
Maybe you can help me to sort it out.
My idea is that a guest has an initial value of memory (which "memory" seems to be) when booting.
We have some Windows 10 guests which calculate some stuff and i would like to increase

The problem here is that all of the details of what the product *does*
seems to require requesting a demo or watching videos, and at that point
I think you're asking too much of the community.? If you describe what
you are trying to do, we can try to

There is a group that voluntarily maintains a 32-bit CentOS 7. I installed
that on an old Dell Celeron desktop. The performance was so poor, it was
unusable. Then, I tried the lubuntu distro, and

MySQL Stats
Icecast tries to ping MySQL DB every 10 seconds (#define
MYSQLSTATS_DBCHECK_INTERVAL 10) using mysql_ping() native function.
If the DB doesn't answer, it closes the connection calling
mysqlStatsDBClose() to free memory and wait for the next ping.
The next time, it will find the DB connection closed so it tries to
reopen it to have MySQL Stats working again, but there is an increment

can't cancel call conference when invited by asterisk
Hello plp I am a newbie and I have a peculiar problem when asterisk
invites a user to
join a conference. If a user invited to a conference by asterisk
cancels the call while
being on conference then asterisk doesn't seem to be getting the BYE
message and the user
stays in the conference forever until the administrator finishes the
conference or kicks
the user out. But, if the user

"Whats New at Digium the Asterisk Company" -- Junk?
Is the "Whats New at Digium the Asterisk Company" message I got from
digium at en25.com really from Digium?
If so I suggest to send it from digium.com and not to use those
shady Eloqua redirect URLs.

Auto driver download, only sometimes
Hello,
I am running Samba 3.0.2 with Cups support. Recently I set this up on a new
server, shut down the old Samba 2.* server, changed the name and brought up
the new server as our new print server. Everyone automatically had all
their drivers "upgraded", even when they previously had special local drivers
installed. They did not need to delete and re-double-click the printer

pam_smbpass: Cannot access samba password database
I think pam_smbpass it is not initializing all the parameters from smb.conf.
This exhibits itself as "Cannot access samba password database" messages
in the syslog. I ran my test code using "truss" and there are
some interesting open() calls:
