Hi, I am installing Oracle Developer Suite in my PC and when I execute the setup.exe file using Wine, following error appears: Verifying Swap Space: 0 MB available, 1535 MB necessary (I translated from Portuguese, maybe some different words in English). Does someone knows how to solve this? [Question]

I'm trying to install the zune software under wine and I'm getting smacked with the error "unable to find a volume for file extraction, do you have the proper permissions?". I've done some research and found that windows installers won't always install to network drives, so I tried the workaround suggested here

...nSUSE 11.3 with wine version 1.3.5.2010.1026-1.1. It does not run perfectly; however it is serviceable. I started with a fresh wine install and set it up with winetricks, using the following perimeters: corefonts tahoma firefox gecko ie6 - I couldn't get ie7 to install vcrun2008 winxp winver= volnum Then install DNS10 and follow the directions. I had to do a standard installation, when I tried to do a custom install the install failed. If you get it to work don't change anything with wine. Hope this helps

Code: sh winetricks gfw does not work under regular user; only under root ( Code: sudo sh winetricks gfw ).
