overlaying points and lines on a surface3d rgl plot with axes
Hi R users and experts,
I am interested in learning more about the use of 3D plots. Specifically, I
want to add points and lines to a surface plot. And get the axes and labels
plotted also. Here is what I have tried with an example data set :
library(rgl)
vol2 <- 2*volcano # Exaggerate the relief
library(reshape)
mvol2 <- melt(vol2)
str(mvol2)
# First, persp and persp3d plots do not succeed
#persp(mvol2$X1,mvol2$X2,vol2,xlab="X2",ylab="X1",zlab="value",axes=TRUE,ticktype="detailed",cex.lab=1)
persp3d(mvol2$X2...

StorNext CVFS
Morning All!
Anyone ever tried exporting a StorNext CVFS filesystem from a Linux box???
I?ve got this Samba server (3.5.6) running on CentOS 5.4 and it?s working
fine, exporting ext3, nfs and an IBM GPFS filesystem just fine. So I know
Samba is good an my configuration is working.
I tried to add the exportation of a StorNext CVFS volume and that doesn?t
work. All the other volumes still work

node crashing on 4 replicated-distributed cluster
Hi,
I've got troubles after few minutes of glusterfs operations.
I setup a 4-node replica 4 storage, with 2 bricks on every server:
# gluster volume create vms replica 4 transport tcp
192.168.7.1:/srv/vol1 192.168.7.2:/srv/vol1 192.168.7.3:/srv/vol1
192.168.7.4:/srv/vol1 192.168.7.1:/srv/vol2 192.168.7.2:/srv/vol2
192.168.7.3:/srv/vol2 192.168.7.4:/srv/vol2
I started copying files with rsync from node1, and after few minutes the
network traffic stalled.
Inspecting logs brick logs on node4, I've found many of:

Resolve brick failed in restore
Hi,
I have a lab with 10 machines acting as storage servers for some compute
machines, using glusterfs to distribute the data as two volumes.
Created using:
gluster volume create vol1 192.168.10.{221..230}:/data/vol1
gluster volume create vol2 replica 2 192.168.10.{221..230}:/data/vol2
and mounted on the client and server machines using:
mount -t glusterfs 192.168.10.221:/vol1 /mnt/vol1
mount -t glusterfs 192.168.10.221:/vol2 /mnt/vol2
Everything worked great for almost two months now, but for some reason the

More Migration Questions
...Finally, it appears that our existing IMAP users (all mbox) have
mailboxes stored simply in their home directory, not necessarily inside
the "~/mail/" directory - is this going to be a problem?
The command i'm using to convert is this one:
./migrateuser.sh username /home/username /vol2/maildirs/username
This script (and the latest mb2md.py that goes with it, to preserve msg
IDs) were obtained from here: http://wiki.dovecot.org/Migration/MailFormat
The stage i'm at with the server overall is that uw-imapd and qpopper
have been completely removed, exim is currently setup to d...

"mvr" function
Hello,
I am trying to understand how to utilize the "mvr" function in the pls
Package of R. I am utilizing the R "pls Package" document dated 18 May 2005
as guidance. My data set consists of a 12 x 12 data frame created from
reading in a table of values. I have read the data in via the command:
volumes <- read.table("THA_vol.txt", header = TRUE)
and then
