Asterisk ISDN: Problem Setting CallerID as DIDExtension Numbers.
this happened to me on a cvs update, rebuilt a clean chan capi cm and
all is well.

Asterisk ISDN CallerID identification failure
Hello,
We have 4 'Onramp-2' Telstra ISDN BRI services operating on Asterisk
Server with Eicon 4BRI card. For most part the service is okay.
However, we are are having problems with passing callerID to internal
extensions.
This is the set of command executed.
exten => <pattern>,1,Answer ; Answer the line
exten => <pattern>,2,NoOp(${DNIS}) ; debug statements

Current Setup:
- Eicon Quad BRI ISDN Card.
- 4 ISDN BRI (Telco: Telstra) Onramp2 services.
- Mode: Point2Point.
- 100 Indial Number ranges. Full National Number (9 digit format): BAAAAAAXX
where: B (Area code): 2/3/7/8
A (Normal Numbers)
X (99 Indial extensions)
eg: BAAAAAA00
BAAAAAA20 etc
Requirement:
- To be able send Indial numbers as Caller ID when dialing out.

Peculiar one way convesation fault with Asterisk.

Has any one here experienced the following issue (or similar).
Setup Description:
- Asterix Server - 192.168.1.10
- Analog Phone connected through FXS to Asterisk Box - (ext) 2000
- SoundPoint IP 300 - 192.168.1.2 - (ext) 4004
Problem:
I have a very basic sip.conf, extension.conf and zapata.conf.
Now when I try using 4004 my call doesn't go through. But if

VoiceGateway Design - Request for comments/suggestions
Hello Group,
I'd like to hear your thoughts for the following design. To implement
a Voice Gateway solution with atleast 2 PRI (60 channel) capacity, is
it better to implement
- 1 Grunty Server with a BiPRI card (TE205P, 210P) / Quad PRI (TE405P, TE410P)
or
- 2 Normal Servers (Dell 420/430 with 2 Gig RAM and 80 Gig SATA) with
Single PRI (TE110P) or BiPRI (TE205P, 210P) and Load balance
